The labsystem is an Open Source project I started in 2004. It is an eLearning platform containing a content management system and a course administration system.

Inside the labsystem environment you can provide HTML content like text, pictures, videos and sounds. As it is entirely based on HTML you can ambed everything you can find in the web. As learning elements you find multiple choice questions, free text inputs and file uploading possibilities that can be combined freely in so-called collections.

The system was especially developed for realizing my didactical concept of the practical exercise iLab. So it supports it :)
